Mortgage=Scam

So i just had this flash of insight as to why banks have mortgage rates so low:

The banks own over 2 million homes that have been foreclosed on. If property values keep dropping, they not only lose in the short term with the price going down, but in the long term because if a home is mortgaged at a lower price, they see less interest on the note that they issue.

I'm waiting at least another year to buy a home - probably closer to 2013. There is still a long way to the bottom.

Firearms/Personal Life Insurance

I just realized that I've been old enough to own a firearm for a decade now, and I've never had one of my own. I think it's time for me to look at moving back to the good ol' US of A.

Summer Music Festivals

I really can't wait until this summer. Pentaport and Jisan Valley are gonna be awesome! I do hope that some of the artists at Summer Sonic make their way over here.

Android 2.1 on my Motoroi

I woke up this morning and got a notification that an upgrade was available for my Motoroi. First thinking that the Korean government was finally here to take my games, I begrudgingly installed the update. To my surprise, I am now running Android 2.1. Thanks, Motorola and SKT!

No VOIP apps for Android in Korea

I'm a bit perturbed that Skype and Google Voice aren't available for my phone...

So I pre-ordered the Motorola Motoroi (aka Sholes Tablet, xt720 and Droid Tablet) and was checking out the site, and came across this:



Does anyone else see anything wrong with this picture?

Either way, I'm terribly excited to finally be getting a smart phone.
